Quick breakdown:

An eSIM is a physical SIM built into your phone — it gives YOUR device data on a carrier. A proxy is different: it's a middleman IP you route your traffic through, so websites see the proxy's IP and location instead of yours.

Mobile proxy vs VPN — they sound similar but aren't the same:
→ A VPN routes ALL your device traffic through one server, usually a datacenter IP that sites can detect and block. Shared by tons of users.
→ A mobile proxy gives you a real 4G/5G carrier IP (the same kind of IP a normal phone on AT&T/T-Mobile/Verizon gets). Sites trust it because it looks like a regular person on their phone. You point a specific app/browser at it, not your whole device.

Does it give you data? No, it's not a data plan. You still use your own internet; the proxy just changes the IP your traffic exits from. Think "borrowed phone IP," not "SIM card."

So: eSIM = data for your device. VPN = hide/encrypt all traffic via datacenter. Mobile proxy = route chosen traffic through a real carrier IP that sites trust.
