Hi, I’m finding it really hard to make a profit when my products are even slightly more expensive than my competitors’ when running Meta ads.. for example, I am selling smartphone case let say, if competitors are selling $20 and, mines are $30, because of $10, sales significantly drop..

I feel unless I manufacture goods with very cheap price like $1~$2 and sell $10~$12, it is really hard to sell.. my website is good, product is good, awesome pictures, bunch of easy pays, but the reality is tones of ATC and very few sales.. because the price is $5+ higher, and price range is $30+

in this case, is it possible to sell $200~$300 health supplements in Meta? is it even possible..? anyone sells that much expensive product and and make profit??

  1. People are very price sensitive with products like phone cases. Maybe you have better quality than your competitors, but that doesn't really matter if the quality of the competition is already good enough. Most people aren't looking for the highest quality phone case. They're looking for one that does the job and looks good. A $20 phone case, or even a $15 one, will do the job just fine for most people. It's also a very saturated market.
  2. People are generally more willing to spend money on products related to their health, so $200–300 can work (although that's a pretty crazy price range for supplements). But it probably won't be an impulse buy. People spending $200–300 on supplements will likely do their research and know quite a lot about supplements. They'll compare different products, ingredients, dosages, reviews, etc., so your product will have to be outstanding at that price.
You'll also need to build a lot of trust. For example, you could provide free educational content, give customers the option to take a quiz to figure out what supplements they actually need, and then offer different supplements/dosages based on their specific needs.

Basically, at $200–300, I wouldn't just think about how to sell the product through Meta ads. I'd think about how to build enough trust and perceived value after someone clicks the ad to make them comfortable spending that much.

It's crucial that your product comes with a warranty and certification. Most customers prioritize quality over price when buying health-related products.

Pricing is a highly sensitive factor; if you sell the same product at a higher price than others, why would customers choose to buy from you? You need to consider this carefully. You should focus on your target market and analyze your competitors' pricing. What makes your product superior to theirs to justify your price point? Simply basing your selling price on your cost of goods sold is not enough; doing so may fail to align with customer preferences.

It's not necessary to sell a cheap product. A $200-$300 product can still sell well on Meta if: the product has distinctly differentiating features, receives positive customer feedback, the product's value is commensurate with its price, and the profit margin is sufficient to cover advertising costs.

It’s possible, but at $200–$300 the ad needs to sell the value, not just the product.

Strong proof, trust, reviews and a good offer matter a lot. For Meta, I'd also expect a longer testing period than with a $20 product.

You can sell dietary supplements, but since these are health-related products, Meta will apply a stricter review process to your posts.

You can absolutely sell your products at a high price if you build a strong reputation and offer high-quality products to your target customer base. For products with value, the customer experience and reputation are always more valuable than a product of unknown origin.

you said it yourself that your products cost more than competitors. would you buy the same product from someone if it cost even $1 more than another product? everyone is highly price sensitive today, especially with so much choice

There is one thing you need to understand in business: the value of the goods you sell depends heavily on the service you provide. Focus on creating a premium distinction for your product rather than fixating on your competitors' pricing.

Yes many brands sell expensive health products through Meta, but they usually dont rely on one ad. They build trust first with content, reviews, retargeting and a strong customer journey.

I think it is possible, but at $200 to $300 people buy because they trust the product and see the value, not just because the ad is good. If you get lots of ATCs but few purchases, I would look at the offer and trust first. The problem may not simply be the price

That is certainly possible, but you will be subject to strict oversight by Meta, as the matter concerns the health and well-being of the human community.

That is possible; however, Meta will exercise strict oversight because the content directly concerns public health and safety.

Many bug startups are already doing this but most are funded. Building a profitable business based on this is going to be very tough thing though.

Yeah, you can sell $200-$300 products on Meta, but the game is very different. People usually won't pay that much for a generic product just because the website looks good ; you need strong differentiation, trust and a clear reason for the premium price.

For the phone case, $30 vs $20 is a big difference because people can compare it instantly. With higher-ticket products, the offer and perceived value matter much more. I've seen agency campaigns work with higher-priced products too, but the funnel and creatives usually need more work than simply running ads to a product page.
