Yeah, I’ve noticed the same. Native traffic can perform very differently depending on the time. I usually test different time slots first and then adjust based on the results.

Everyone's saying collect data first, which is right. Hourly conversion data is thin. Cut an hour on 2 conversions and you're deleting traffic that was fine, you just had no sample. Also native is placement driven. What looks like a 3am problem is usually one widget on one site that runs heavy at 3am. Check site level before you touch hours.Bid down instead of pausing and just keep farming data.

Collect data by hour first, then cut the time slots that spend more but bring weak conversions. Don’t set dayparting based on guesses.

I use dayparting mainly after I have some conversion data. If a certain part of the day keeps giving cheap conversions, I increase the budget there and reduce the bad hours. I also check weekdays and weekends separately because the pattern can be totally different.

Dayparting works best when you look at your specific niche data first because generic advice rarely fits every vertical perfectly.

I usually test the full day first and then reduce spending during low performing hours and focus more on the hours that bring the more better results.
