I use AI mostly for brainstorming and exploring different directions. I still prefer doing the final design myself because the small details make a big difference.
In early days when people was not introduced by Ai the manual work and human creativity matters a lot in graphics work, but after the introduction of Ai the trend change completely. Now the clients prefer that designs which looks clean simple and iconic. The quantity of text is not matters more now because client just want to present his service just in minimal format and want less quantity of text in their designs.
honestly the biggest bottleneck with ai right now is vectors. clients need clean, scalable files and most ai tools just spit out flat rasters that you end up having to manually recreate anyway. its fine for moodboards and concepts but for actual production work it still feels like double work sometimes.
honestly the simple and bold trend is probably a direct reaction to all the over-rendered midjourney stuff. when every cheap ad has a hyper-detailed ai background, clean and minimal designs actually stand out more. in my experience clients are starting to get tired of that generic ai look anyway and want something that feels more intentional.
