Hello everyone,

I have been working in the guest post and link building space, especially in the casino/iGaming niche.

Recently I noticed that many high authority sites have stopped accepting casino content, so finding quality placements is getting harder.

Some methods I currently use:

* Searching Google footprints like:
"write for us" + casino
"guest post" + gambling

* Checking backlinks of competitor casino sites.

* Looking at websites that already accept crypto or betting content.

But I’m curious how other members here are finding good guest post opportunities for the casino niche in 2026.

Are you using any tools or special search footprints to discover new sites?

Would love to hear your strategies and experiences.

Yes, it’s getting harder in 2026. Besides footprints and competitor backlink analysis, many are using SEO tools for link gap research and expanding into related niches (crypto, finance, tech) instead of direct casino sites, along with digital PR and outreach for better placements.

That’s a good point. I’ve also noticed many people moving into related niches like crypto, finance, and tech because they’re easier to place content on compared to direct casino sites.

Link gap analysis definitely helps as well, especially to see where competitors are getting contextual placements that are still accepting gambling-related links.

Digital PR and outreach seem to be becoming more important too, since a lot of traditional “write for us” casino footprints are either saturated or no longer accepting that niche.

Have you found outreach working better when pitching general topics (finance/tech) and then placing the casino link naturally inside the content, or are you still getting direct casino placements on authority sites?

Have you tried reaching out to sites outside the casino niche first and then pitching softer content angles? also curious are paid placements still giving good ROI for you lately?

I prefer checking traffic and content quality before considering a site I m interested to see what methods others are using in 2026.

Competitor backlink analysis has been the most effective approach along with focusing on relevant publishers that already cover gambling betting or adjacent topics

I usually start with competitor backlinks and then manually check the sites for relevance and real traffic. Search footprints are useful for finding prospects, but I wouldn't rely on them alone. A lot of sites look good on paper but aren't really worth the placement.

I will continue to use the method of competitor link building analysis and manual traffic verification. It is better to find several reliable publishing house that have an audience connected to my niche rather than create numerous guest post sites for casino

the same thing applies to me as well; backlinks of the competition are some of the best means to locate the publishers. I do analyze the latest blog nd traffic generated organically before starting my outreach proces

I'm not quite sure what you gain from analyzing your competitor's link mass?

In the casino niche, large agencies work for casino owners; they find people willing to post such content and work with them under certain conditions.

And these links make up no more than 3% of all casino resource links.

The remaining 97% of links are made up of teams that buy expired, top-tier domains for ANY amount of money and place links from them. You will never be able to place your links on these sites. These are the links that propel all casino sites to the top.

You should also bid at auctions and secure top-tier expired domains and place links from them to your casino sites. Here, everything depends on the budget. Top players set limits below which they won't collect domains; they only collect super-expensive domains. Poorer teams collect cheaper but still very good domains. There's a trade-off between them, and it's quite possible to get good domains, since budgets are limited, and one team takes 2%-3% of the current good domains, while other teams take their 2%-3% of all good domains.

Keep a list of relevant sites and check them from time to time. Some publishers may start accepting casino or related content later, even if they don’t accept it now.

I’d focus less on “write for us” footprints and more on competitor backlink mining + topical relevance.

Ahrefs/Semrush can help identify sites already publishing casino, betting, crypto, or finance content. Then manually check traffic, indexing, outbound link patterns, and whether they still accept commercial placements.

Prospecting backlinks for competitor is vry effective; however, I also ensure that these links have traffic nd content becuz sometimes the links look gud on paper but are practically worthless.
