f you were promoting an indie game through a gaming YouTube creator, which metric would you trust more?

A creator with 500K subscribers but 30K average views, or a creator with 200K subscribers but 100K average views?

Would you also look at audience geography and engagement before deciding?

I’d choose the creator with 100K average views over the one with 30K Subscribers matter less than consistent views audience location and engagement I’d check all three before deciding

Comments can tell you a lot about the audience. If people are actually talking about the game and content, that’s a good sign.

The answer to this is definately the 200K Subscriber with 100K Views, Subscribers means nothing if the views arent good and they arent active. The person with 100K Views is a much better deal.

If it were up to me, I’d choose the person with 100,000 views. View count is the most important thing to me. YouTube also tends to favor clips that get high viewership early on.

the audience behind those views matters just as much as the views themselves
