Not saying its wrong, just curious what stuff every recommends that you personally don't think matters as much as ppl make it out to be
for its probably posting frequency , feels like ppl care more abt quality over how often you publish but the post daily advise is still everywhere.

Meta descriptions, everyone obsesses over them, but I've seen pages rank just fine without perfect ones. They might help CTR a bit, but they're not a ranking factor.

For me, it’s posting frequency.I don’t think you need to post every single day just to stay relevant.A genuinely good post is worth more than a bunch of rushed ones.Consistency matters, but I’ll always choose quality over quantity.

I don’t think every trend or SEO trick needs to be followed. It is better to test what actually works for your own website.

I feel backlinks to a website are still overrated, as I have experienced websites with less backlinks also perform in today's AI search and traditional search. Websites should follow the best practice in terms of optimization which helps SERP visibility.

For me publishing frequency is definitely overrated too I’d rather publish fewer articles with real value strong intent matching and useful insights than chase a daily posting schedule

Obsessing over ******** vs nofollow ratio. I stopped caring about it a while ago and nothing changed. A natural profile has a messy mix anyway, and trying to engineer a specific percentage just makes you turn down perfectly good links.

Close second is word count targets. "Top results average 2,400 words" so everyone pads to 2,400 words. Google is not counting.

dont use AI content..... everyone says it, most of the people saying it use it. the actual rule is dont publish unedited first drafts. a properly prompted and edited AI article outperforms a rushed human one every time and the pages dont care who typed it

According to me, keyword density is a bit unnecessary. Like I don't think we need to keep adding the same keyword again and again just because for SEO.

Dis avowing toxic backlinks IMO. Unless you were subject to some kind of manual penalty, google handles bad links quite effectively by itself and tinkering with dis avow files will likely do more harm than gud.

too many people worry too much about meta descriptions when in reality i seen pages do well even without having the best ones.they could be of assistance in terms of improving CTR but that not mean they have anything to do with rankings.

Moreover, the significance of frequent postings is, I believe, overstated too what is far more significant is that the content must be of good quality and the search intent must be accurate rather than simply producing content on a regular basis.

In my view, focusing on putting keywords in specific places is somewhat overdone. It is not necessary to force key words into every position provided that the page was answering the queries effectively.

another measure that may be considered to be overrated is the measure of keyword density. To me, it is more important to cover your topics and match search intent.

Keyword density is an other factor that I had seen people going crazy over to this very day. If the page have answered the user’s search adding some key word density will makes it look un natural

Meta descriptions. They matter to some extent, but I dont think they deserve as much attention as people give them.

Obsessing over exact keyword density is pretty overrated. I'd focus more on search intent, content quality, and whether the page actually satisfies the query. The number can be useful as a reference, but forcing a specific density usually doesn't help much.

Frequency of posts is a factor for me as well. I’d rather publish one strong article that actually satisfies the query, not 5 weaker posts to meet a daily target. Calendar isn’t an SEO signal but consistency counts.

I would says striving for perfection in ur on page score is some what overvalued. I has seen many pages performs better with gud structure and usefull content rather than perfect SEO boxes.
