Pinterest a good social media platform for marketing game apps? Do you think it could be a good place to showcase our independent game?

Yes, it can work well but only if you create good visuals, gameplay clips, and link them to your game page.

Pinterest can work if the game gives people something worth saving, not just launch posts. Character art, maps, builds, short clips or simple guides fit much better than generic promo screenshots.

I’d test a few pin types and watch saves and outbound clicks. If you get impressions but no clicks, people may like the artwork without actually wanting to try the game.

It depends on the game and if it's catered for a female audience mostly, because most people on Pinterest are women.
