Do you actually trust your own gut on SEO decisions or always waits for data?

i use my personal generate ideas but I always verify the information prior to making any large scale changes.small changes are not a problem in fact I like to test them out first provided that it is easy to revert.this will help me see what effect the change had.

I trust the gut feeling for small changes like internal links or titles, but for bigger changes I prefer to check the data first. Experience helps, but data keeps you from overreacting.

Unique content, high-quality backlinks (industry-relevant), Google EEAT rules...

Like something you just have a feeling of certain page needs more internal links , or a title needs changing , or a piece of content wont perform well- before any data even show it.
Do you act on that gut feeling right away or do you always wait for analytics/rankings to confirm it first...
Gut feelings are vry helpful in identifying potential problems but I does not consider them to be proof. i will implement the change and monitor the numbers to finds out whether my hypothesis turned out to be correct.

not really, just wait for the data to make decision Whether you have a budget or not, don't rely on your gut feeling.

If something looks clearly wrong, you can fix it first and then watch what happens. No need to wait for every small change.
