What's most important for attracting steady attention on Instagram is:
  • engagement
  • likes
  • shares
  • DMs
  • followers
  • those that have experience in this area
What is Instagram rewarding?

hi i think engagement and shares are the most important because instagram seems to reward content that people interact with and share them.

steady attention can provide with the account upload content and engage of other profiles with available source/buttons to notify for attentions, all available engagement source/button are mode for notify and attention for continuity of expose content detail.

I think IG basically wants content that keeps people on Instagram. If people watch it, share it, save it or start a conversation from it, those are all pretty strong signals.

Shares and watch time are probably more important than just likes.

Instagram seems to reward content that keeps people watching and makes them want to share or interact with it. Followers come naturally from that.

For me, shares and saves matter more than just likes. If people save or share a post, it usually means they found it useful.

yeah @ViewCloak is spot on about saves, but honestly dont sleep on DMs. the head of IG actually said a while ago that they rank stuff based on how much people share it in private messages. i started making content specifically designed to be sent to a friend and my reach went up quite a bit. its all about starting conversations in the inbox.

For me, engagement matters more than just likes. Comments and other interactions show that people are actually interested.

Instagram uses the 3-5 second watch time as a reference on who to show the content to. Depending how many people react to the content, that is what Instagram uses to push the content to new users

tbh it really comes down to retention first. if you cant get people to watch past the first few seconds and actually finish the video, they aren't going to share it anyway. likes are pretty much useless now for reach, it's all about getting them to send it to a friend or save it.

Engagement is most important and watch time and also reels watch and audience

Comments shares saves & conversations can help keep people interested. Likes & followers are helpful too but consistent and natural interaction seems more important over time. Genuine interaction seems to make the biggest difference.

I think the number of followers and likes are still the basics. They drive more traffic, and only when an account has traffic will it generate more engagement and shares. That’s my opinion.

I dont think Instagram rewards just one thing. Good engagement is important, but when people share or save a post, that’s a stronger sign that the content is actually getting attention.

DMs can matter a lot if you’re trying to get customers. They show that someone wants to know more instead of just scrolling past.

Shares + saves + real engagement. Likes alone dont seem to do much these days.

creating good hooks makes your content a lot more engaging, the sky is the limit here

Growth Takes time, and with the time most of the peoples quit. No matter What they are doing in which field, Thats Why in this Era we should build the system that works for us even we are sleeping or doing other things. I used to automate my every system which I Know needs patience.
