I've noticed reach can be pretty unpredictable larely.
Curious what others are seeing with their pages. Are reels still bringing most of the organic reach or are normal posts performing better for you?

Facebook Reels are more effective at reaching and connecting with new audiences, whereas standard posts are better for retaining loyal followers and conveying detailed information. the choice of format depends entirely on your specific goals at any given time

Facebook Reels is still quite effective in reaching organic users, but if you want to expand further, it needs to involve high-quality content and shared images, and you need to have a certain level of credibility to build trust.

Reels are still winning for me, especially with strong hooks

yeah i think reels still bring more organic reach but the normal posts can work well too but also it depends on the content and page.

For me reels are more effective, it's easy to make them go viral, you just have to create
high quality content

It depends on the niche. For most of niches, Reels perform better.

Yeah, I’m seeing the same. Reels still seem to have the edge for reach, especially when the content is original, but regular posts can still outperform on engagement depending on the niche. I’d test both rather than relying only on Reels

If I could only choose one, I would choose Reels to increase reach.

Facebook reels are better than posting regularly. Facebook reels have a more consistent reach.

Reels performs better organic reach

Yeah same here. Reel seem to get pushed much more when the content has a good hook.

That’s pretty much how I see it too. Reels for discovery regular posts for keeping the existing audience engaged.

Agreed. Quality makes a big difference especially when trying to get consistent reach from Reels.

Strong hooks definitely make a difference. A good first few seconds can change the reach completely.
hi i think reels still get more reach but it also depends on the content.
Yeah content definitely plays a big role. some posts just perform better as Reels.

Exactly. I think testing both is still the safest approach since every page behaves differently.

combining Reels with regular posts can create a good balance between discovering new audiences

Based on current Facebook user behavior, Facebook Reels is the most effective method.

reels may has the edges when it comes to organic reach but posts appears to be more effective at engaging the followers that you were already have. I would uses both of them.

If Facebook likes your reel after it's initial testing phase, it will outperform a post 99/100 times. At least that's been our experience. Short form video content is where it's at.

Reels still deliver the best organic reach, but to maintain consistent engagement, it's necessary to combine them with Carousel posts.
