Will translating my website to popular languages using AI negatively impact SEO?

AI translation itself should not hurt SEO. The main thing is the quality. If the translated pages read naturally and use the right local keywords, they can perform well.

Using ai for translation is fine just check the content before posting and fix anything that does not sound right.

AI translation itself is not the main risk. The risks are inaccurate language, duplicated targeting and incorrect international SEO setup. Each version should have a self-referencing canonical, reciprocal hreflang, localized titles and internal links, and a native-language review for important pages.

No, I don't think it will affect your site. It depends on whether the translated pages are accurate, natural in that language, and actually useful to visitors.

Maybe you can verify them manually once the translation processes are completed. Also, make sure each language has proper URLs and internal linking. It will help you for sure.
