Is there anyone here using Android device farms to promote products through Instagram Reels? Please share your experience. Is this still effective in 2026? I haven’t found much useful information online, although perhaps I haven’t searched thoroughly enough. What is important to understand before getting started?

I'd suggest posting this directly in the Instagram section of the forum for more focused discussion

Hi! Thanks for the advice. I registered here an hour ago and haven’t quite figured out how everything works yet.

Yes, it is still effective and works well in 2026 if done right. What you need to understand is to have a clean mobile proxy for each phone. Don't rush to post reels on day one. Warm up the accounts first with random scrolls and likes. Then start with a few devices to test your setup and scale accordingly.

I’m currently choosing accounts. What characteristics should an account have if we’re targeting the US market? I’m trying to find accounts that are more than six months old, linked to a reputable email provider such as Google or Outlook and a mobile phone number, and originally registered from a US IP address.

However, it is very difficult to find accounts that meet these criteria at a reasonable price. Perhaps I’m focusing too much on these factors, and an account registered from a US IP address and aged for a couple of weeks would be sufficient? I know that account quality is important when promoting content through Reels. I’d appreciate any advice on this.

The proxy and easing-in advice above is the survival half of your question and it's right, so I'll take the other half, whether a farm moves Reels distribution. Mostly it doesn't. Reach is decided by watch-through in the test audiences the platform picks, and a farm changes none of that. What it scales is how many independent posts you make and how many separate starting audiences you pull from.

So settle which problem you have before buying hardware. If the creative already holds people and you just need more entry points, a farm is a real answer, and the job is keeping the devices from reading as one operator. If retention is weak, twenty devices run a losing test twenty times. And posting the identical file everywhere is one attempt repeated, so change the first two seconds per device, not just the caption.

Best,
Floqal

Yeah, still works in 2026. I would start with a few Android phones first, get the setup and workflow right, then scale from there.

How many accounts do you plan to do with Phone Farm? If its not more than 20-25 then no need of a Phone Farm, It will burn you money as setup is expensive.

Also there are many providers out there, Look out for the cheapest one, and ask for free trial before any commitment.

Its very effective in 2026 if you know what you are doing, Its a bit complicated to manage but once you get your hands on it then its super easy. You can literally manage 100s of accounts while automating everything on them.

Not Android but iPhone - It's a little expensive to set up. So only high ticket promotions are viable
