when a facebook campaign starts losing efficiency, which signals help you decide whether the problem is creative fatigue or audience saturation? do you compare frequency, cpm, ctr, and conversion rate over a fixed window before refreshing creatives or expanding the audience?

If the CPA exceeds the target cost by 20%–30% for three consecutive days, I believe the creative assets should be replaced.

I prefer to evaluate trends over a few days instead of focusing on one metric. High frequency with a falling CTR usually means the creatives need refreshing. If CPM is climbing and conversions are dropping, the audience may be saturated. I normally test new creatives before touching the targeting.

I usually compare frequency CTR and conversion rate over the same time period If the audience is still responding to other creatives but one creative is declining that feels more like creative fatigue to me

if you see frequency increasing while CTR is dropping, it’s often a sign of creative fatigue, but if CPM goes up and conversions decline, it could be an audience saturation issue. You can compare the performance over a few days before deciding whether to refresh creatives or expand the audience...

I usually compare the last 7 days with the previous 7 days. If frequency rises and CTR drops while CPM stays stable, it’s usually creative fatigue. If CPM also rises, I’ll test expanding the audience before making major changes.
