YouTube Circumvention termination never had a terminated channel

Yo guys, need some advice from anyone who has dealt with YouTube circumvention before.

My channel ItsNaf (~203 subs) got permanently terminated for Circumvention Policy.

The weird part: I've literally never had a YouTube channel terminated before. None of my other channels have been terminated either.

The timeline is also weird:
  • Channel created April 2024 as Notnafe
  • Later changed name + @handle to ItsNaf
  • Started a livestream with Streamlabs
  • My Ethernet was being unstable, so Streamlabs kept disconnecting/reconnecting
  • A few minutes after starting the stream, YouTube terminated the channel
  • Termination email specifically says Circumvention Policy
I've never bought/transferred a channel, never used another channel to bypass a termination, and never knowingly operated a terminated person's channel.

My first appeal was honestly shit because I was shocked. I basically said:

“Woah man, i just only live streaming, i do not break any circumvention policy, i respect it”

They rejected it without telling me what previous termination/channel association I'm supposedly circumventing.

Has anyone seen this before?

If you have experience with YouTube circumvention, what could cause a false positive when there is supposedly no previous terminated channel?

I'm not looking for bypass methods — just trying to understand what could have triggered it and whether there's anything legitimate I can do.

You can sometimes receive this type of notice even if you haven’t had a previous channel removed. If you believe it was sent in error, the safest approach is to use the platform’s official review process and explain your situation clearly.

Yes, I would definitely file an appeal instead of thinking too much about the notice. Ensure that your appeal is brief and to the point.

Yeah, I already appealed twice. The second appeal was much more detailed, but they basically auto-rejected it because my previous appeal was already denied.
 
Your ban was likely a false positive caused by Streamlabs' rapid disconnect loops or a shared IP/device fingerprint.

they basically auto-rejected it if i say that, because my previous appeal had already been denied.
I can't appeal again without getting the same automated response. Do you know of any legitimate way to get this in front of an actual YouTube support person for a manual review?
I'm not trying to bypass the termination I just want the circumvention flag reviewed and lifted if it's an error.
 
Circumvention isn't about your channel's own record, it's about a link the system believes it found between your channel and one that was already removed. That's why the rejection named nothing, because they aren't claiming you were terminated before, they're claiming this channel is associated with a channel that was. That association is usually inherited rather than earned. A recovery email or phone number that once sat on someone else's removed account, a signup or login address shared with one, or a monetisation identity attached to one, all read the same way to an automated reviewer.

The first appeal is also why the second one is harder. An appeal that only asserts innocence gets read against a file that's already closed, and a closed file reopens on a new fact, not on a better explanation. So make the next one a timeline instead of a defence, with the creation date, the email and number it was created with, the country and connection you normally stream from, the rename, and what changed on the day, which by your own account was a connection dropping and reconnecting repeatedly. That last detail is worth stating plainly, because repeated reconnects can be logged as several sessions rather than one. Give them something checkable, since that's the only thing a second review can act on.

Appeals rarely do anything unless you’re a huge creator, their support is next to none and all you’ll get is copy/paste replies or their AI support telling you what you already know.

So what should i do right know? should i keep spamming their support/appeal or i just make a new one? , i think they just filtered me out, sorry im kinda confused

Don't send the same appeal again. Repeat appeals land on the same closed file, and volume reads as one claim restated, which is why nothing moved. You're right that it was filtered, and that's the useful part, because a filter is looking for a new fact rather than a better tone. So send one more, once, and make it the timeline version, creation date, the email and number it was created with, where you normally sign in from, and the reconnect loop on stream day.

The other option is the one to avoid. Opening a fresh channel on the same identity while a circumvention termination stands is the exact thing that policy is named after, so it usually takes the new channel too and hardens the original decision instead of resetting it. One properly built appeal is worth more than five channels.

alright, i appeal with different message, diffrent tone, + add the timeline, if its still doesnt work, i think i just wait until 12 month to get appeal for new channel, but thank you for your advice man!
