I have a couple of manually grew accounts on X, each at ~10k followers. The reach of both this accounts seems limited, probably due to misuse on my side (like, I guess, the type of content I was posting, cross-reposting, logging in form same device...).

The accounts have been just sitting there for a while now.

Do you guys think I can use them for personal content? Could I rebrand one of them and use it as my own account? Or use it to boost a separated account of mine?

Thanks in advance for the feedback

You can use it as a personal account, just change the name. But don't repeat the action of using the accounts to interact with each other again.

Before deciding what to do with them, it's worth finding out what is actually limited, because the answer changes the plan. Post something plain from one of them, no link, nothing from your niche, and watch the reach on that single post. If a neutral post travels normally, the account itself isn't held back and what you were posting was.

Renaming doesn't touch either case. What ties two accounts together is the device, the address and the timing they share, so a rebrand leaves the connection exactly where it was. That's also why using one to lift the other rebuilds the link you were trying to leave behind.

Best,
