Ask me anything YouTube Q&A (Methods & tricks, Cashcow Business ideas .etc)

Many people that i know who scale channels directly start with CMS generated channels or channels generated by the network.
these channels get high Trust score from the get go. it can blow up within a few days.
What % of the revenue do these CMS take from you generally?

Would you say it's worth it to go with a CMS if your content is not risky or it's only worth it if you're doing risky content that's likely to get demonetized?

@ken017 about using selenium and a server to upload... the automation itself is usually fine if your browser fingerprinting is clean but the server ip is what usually kills the reach. if you are uploading from a standard datacenter vps the algo definitely flags it and drops the reach. try using residential proxies or just upload a few manually from a clean residential connection to see if it makes a difference. also the unlisting and relisting trick is mostly dead now unless you change the md5 hash of the video file and edit the metadata before reuploading otherwise yt just flags it as duplicate content instantly.
Server ip does not always kill the reach unless the ip itself is flagged for bad or bot activity or spam. Now you may have to find out which specific VPS providers are flagged for bot activity or spamming. I think big VPS providers like contabo have policies against this and if they see spam or illegal activity happening on their servers, they can ban your account. I think most likely, big VPS providers are safe due to their own strict policies against certain types of spam or illegal activity.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

contabo has a section for abuse complaints:
https://contabo.com/en/abuse/

Here is quote from AI overview:
["Terms of Service: Providers explicitly ban illegal activities and network abuse, which includes sending unsolicited bulk messages, running botnets, launching automated attacks, or violating the terms of third-party platforms.
Abuse Complaints: If a social media platform or network security group reports abusive traffic originating from a server IP, the provider's trust and compliance team reviews the complaint.
In general, using a VPS ip should not be a problem."]

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

The main thing that social media companies like youtube looks for, is not the ip address, it is the account's overall 'trust score' and whether you represent 'normal human activity' rather than appearing like a bot or spammer. For instance, you can use an account that has good trust score on a VPN or data center IP and have zero issues with reach.

How can I get a CMS generated channel?
You need to join a CMS network first. You cannot just simply get a CMS generated channel. You need to first find a CMS network that is willing to partner with you, and once you join them you can get a generated channel.
One example would be mediacube. You can try contacting them. They are a CMS network.

They can take anywhere between 10% to 40%. It depends on the network. Some networks just exist to exploit maximum money out of people, so they take a big share.

These days on a CMS network, it is much harder to go with risky content because youtube does periodic checks, due to spam and abuse.
however certain types of borderline/grey area/risky content is much safer to do on a CMS network then it is on adsense, because on adsense they are stricter than ever, also due to heavy increase in spam.
So there are certain types of music channels or spam kids animations that would generally get demonetized on adsense after a while. This is basically borderline/grey area content that have risk of demonetization, but these do 'okay' in CMS networks.

If you think your content is good and HQ, then you can just build on adsense and skip the CMS part. Here, you also get to keep more of the % share. Joining a CMS is just for the purpose of kick starting or accelerating your growth, since trust scores are high from the 'get go'.

I currently have a monetized channel in the music niche that is at high risk of being demonetized for reused content.

I want to start new channels in safer niches where I show my face and talk on camera.

I'm scared that I'll be successful with the new channels, then my music channel will get demonetized, then my new channels will get demonetized for being linked.

Are my fears valid and what would you advise me to do?

How to rank a YouTube video on Google?
I don't know if there is any guaranteed way to rank a youtube video Google or make it appear there.
if you have some tutorial video on yt, and if it gets traffic, and has the right keywords, then if you have luck, it could sometimes appear on Google search and could rank there for a while.

I think some smm panels could help your video appear there, but I'm not sure yet.
i mostly focus on internal traffic from yt.
I have not focused much on ranking yt videos on Google search.

In that case you can just isolate your new channels on a VPS, by using a new phone number and ip address, or even use the 'dolphin anty browser' if you don't want to get a VPS. dolphin anty is an anti-detect/anti fingerprinting browser.
if you manage your new channels via this method, then it won't get linked.

Dolphin anty is a closed source software, the problem with anti-detect browsers is you are entering your credentials on some black box and trusting them with it. Not a good idea imo.

How reliable is it to think VPS IP addresses are and will remain fresh?

It's all tied to the same AdSense accounts at the end of the day anyway, and they are going hard on this, that's how related demonetizations are probably happening now. Even accessing through manager accounts are putting channels in trouble. So you would need to buy AdSense accounts from some dodgy source or trust someone you know with their address, revealing you are into making content online which sucks.

Also im pretty sure their next step is to do verifications every X months where you will need to prove you are the owner, so if you own AdSense accounts not under your real identity you will be locked out of them. And this is all under the constant threat of unfair AI demonetizations.

I don't know a single person that has proven to monetize a channel recently while having another demonetized channel using the same AdSense, they get demonetized due related channel policy. And worst case, they can delete all of your channels if they feel like it. Also most people are going to be making content on similar subniches because it's a skillset you develop for years (i've heard some people theorizing that they may not be as lenient if you change the niche), but I doubt they don't consider it circumvention if the niche is different, assuming you manage to learn a brand new niche and do content that isn't trash and ranks well.

As far as uploading a number of videos and deleting your channel and trying again until the algorithm picks it up, you would need to be careful that you don't get your content stolen. Some people go around stealing videos from good new channels, so if you delete the channel you'll no longer be the oldest uploader when you reupload it. If you sightly tweak it the AI will detect it and compare it with the oldest reupload from the thief and they will consider the stolen video as the original video potentially shadowbaning yours.

Finally, making a new channel and not enabling "Advanced features" is probably a waste of time, wouldn't be surprised if they shadowban views unless you enable it, and to enable it without doxing yourself with your ID or video recording you are going to need an unknown amount of "channel authority" which means posting videos in a suboptimal state, which means wasting potentially good videos, but if you enable it with the verification methods, you dox yourself and they probably use this to check against other channels you may own. And even if you managed to get "Advanced features" without doxing yourself somehow, you are going to need to dox yourself anyway for when they apply the random age verification check, risking termination if they figure out the data isn't real.

you can ask questions ranging from different types of methods, fixing problems and scaling successfully.
i have years of experience and research done.

Remember that on YT we have to work with knowledge/data, coming from people's anecdote and their own tests, and my own tests and observations.
my answers will confident but don't expect them to be brute scientific facts. it will be as good as the data i have learnt from, which includes the anecdote of people, my observations and the best evidence i've gathered.
so remember that i've not published any peer reviewed scientific papers on YouTube methods. (if that's what you are expecting xD).
so we will have to work with data coming from forum discussions, the observations and tests i've done myself, and info coming from other networks of people i've worked with and met during the YouTube game journey.

I used to run a YouTube channel based on AI videos and some copied animation shorts shorter than 60 seconds. That channel was going so well that it gave me 100k views in 20 days and 400 subscribers, but then I thought I should upload long-form video because short-form views can take a long time for me to monetize my channel. I then uploaded a long-form anime video with copyrighted content and got a copyright strike. At that time, I was introduced to copyright strikes, and then I deleted the video immediately instead of taking action to remove it; that was also a mistake. After that, it's been a year. I kept uploading the same type of short-form videos but never got that kinda engagement and view and subscribers. Now, a few days ago, I changed the channel niche, logo, name, description, tags, and everything to get started with my own videos, monologues, and sharing my thoughts. Until now, I have uploaded 9 videos and have only gotten 1 view. After that strike, my channel was impacted and never got back to normal again like before.
