Can you still make money with content locking in 2026?

Yeah, still possible, I think, but it really all depends on the offer and traffic quality. The old, lock everything and force a submit, model seems tougher to pull off these days.

Yes, it’s still works but you need huge amount of traffic. Relevant amount of good traffic is all you need.

Still works in my opinion, although the old way of locking stuff and forcing the submit is getting weaker.
Good targeted traffic combined with good unlcking service will make more differnce than the locker does.

I think content locking can still work in 2026, but the days of throwing up a generic “unlock this page” gate and expecting easy money are probably gone. I'd make the locked content genuinely useful and give people a clear reason to complete the action, otherwise you'll get clicks without much retention or conversion. Has anyone here tested content locking recently with a specific niche and found a format that still converts consistently?

The biggest mistake is sending low quality traffic and locking basic content that people can easily find elsewhere. I’ll focus more on high-intent niches, better offers, and user experience rather than just trying to get conversions. Quality traffic matters a lot.
