I understand the idea of CPA marketing and how it works, however, I’m absolutely clueless on how people approach it and how they get traffic. Would appreciate any info on it!

You can keep it simple at first pick one traffic source, learn how it works, and test a few offers instead of trying everything at once. Once you understand where your audience comes from and what converts, you can scale from there.

CPA is simple however in the traffic, where the majority of newbies usually get stuck. IMHO, start with one offer nd learn to convert nd then move to another one.
