Travel websites can still make good money, but it usually takes time because the niche is very competitive. Most successful travel sites earn through affiliate bookings, ads, sponsored posts, and lead generation for tour packages or hotels. SEO and social media play a huge role since people search for travel guides and destination tips daily. The key is building trust with unique content instead of copying common travel articles.

Most travel sites earn through hotel and flight affiliates, tour bookings, lead generation, sponsored content, and display ads once traffic becomes consistent. From what I’ve seen, niche or location-based travel sites tend to perform much better than broad travel blogs because they build topical authority faster and attract visitors with stronger buying intent.

It is a very competitive market but profitable nevertheless. You can make good profit from commissions on bookings from hotels/airplane tickets/car rentals etc.

yes, indeed. local guide content nd experience based content will most certainly attract more attention from customer than destination content. the people looking for this kind of content will be closer to buying.
In my opinion, the travel website work much better with the use of affiliate deals than with advertising alone. It is so becuz there is more buying intent behind the guide of places nd things to do.
