When was the last time you saw your PC/laptop desktop and wallpaper?

I don't know if it's just me, but I just realized that I haven't seen my desktop in weeks or even months. I don't remember my wallpaper anymore. It's everything buried behind several opened windows.

A decade ago, I would customize my desktop with pack of icons, a neat wallpaper and meticulously organize it. But now I don't even remember it. Is it your case too or do you see it everyday?

Honestly I just use the default Windows one. The only time I see it is when I boot up the PC. After that it's buried under tabs and folders in about 10 seconds.

I just checked mine and at some point it's disappeared. I've no idea when that could possibly have happened ffs.

You are definitely not alone in that shift. Years ago, customizing wallpapers, tweaking desktop icon packs, and setting up widgets felt like a rite of passage.

Haha, totally relatable. Between all the tabs, tools, and client stuff, the wallpaper's basically an urban legend at this point
