Stuck at ~7–8k daily users on an adult site — how would you scale from here?
I run an adult video site focused mainly on OnlyFans/leaked creator content and webcam content, with some mainstream content mixed in as well.
The site is around 8 months old and currently gets roughly 7,000–8,000 users per day, but I feel like I’ve hit a ceiling and I’m struggling to figure out the next growth channel.
Current situation:
I also don’t have a strong backlink profile. I have some links from adult aggregators/directories such as ThePornDude and a few similar sites, but nothing major.
Interestingly, I get a surprisingly large amount of traffic from Yandex / Turkey, sometimes around 2–3k users/day, but the monetization on that traffic is pretty bad.
For promotion, I previously used Reddit and it worked fairly well for driving traffic, but the accounts eventually got banned. I tried using other accounts afterward, but Reddit seems to detect them very quickly now and they get banned again, so I’ve basically stopped relying on it.
Right now I’m experimenting more with Twitter/X, but I haven’t found a repeatable strategy yet.
My goal would be to 2–3x the traffic from here and eventually reach something like $100/day, assuming I can also improve the traffic quality and monetization.
At this point I’m mostly looking for ideas from people who have actually grown adult sites:
I’m not posting the site name because I’m mainly interested in the strategy rather than self-promotion.
Would appreciate any advice, especially from people who have scaled adult sites past this kind of traffic plateau.

Current situation:
- Around 7–8k daily users
- Revenue is only about $15–20/day
- I upload content almost every day, usually clips/topics that are currently trending
- Most of the publishing process is automated with custom scripts
- Every post has its own description, categories, tags and internal metadata structured with SEO in mind
- Despite that, Google organic traffic is extremely weak
- 150–200 visitors/day searching directly for the site/brand
- Only around 5–10 visitors/day from actual non-branded organic searches

- What traffic sources would you focus on at this stage?
- Is adult SEO still worth heavily investing in, or is it mostly a backlink/domain-authority game?
- Would you focus on Twitter/X, niche communities, tube-site traffic, Telegram, paid traffic, backlinks, or something else?
- How would you approach building backlinks in this niche?
- Are there any adult-friendly traffic sources that actually convert well instead of sending low-value traffic?
- Is 8 months still too early to expect meaningful Google organic growth in this niche?
- Is there something obvious I might be missing if individual video pages are barely getting search traffic?
