I'm looking for small content creators who could make a short explainer, screen recording or review video of my web app, and post it to their channel/audience. It can be AI generated as long as it is accurate.

Is there a specific marketplace to find content creators to collab with? Or is cold outreach the main strategy?

cold pitching is pretty effective, I think, at least when u look at smaller creator who already have an active fan base. there are also other site that you can try such as collabstr, facebook nd Discord.
 
Try YouTube search for creators in your niche and look at smaller channels first. They may be easier to work with.
 
I’d use both marketplaces and cold outreach but directly finding small niche creators on YouTube TikTok and Instagram can often get better results
 
I’d try a mix of creator marketplaces and direct outreach for smaller creators niche relevance and genuine engagement may matter more than follower count you could also search YouTube TikTok or Instagram for creators already covering similar tools and reach out with a clear brief

outreach cold seems like a good option to begin with particularly when it comes to smaller creators. it is always better to reach out to those who actually have an audience that would be interessted in what u are offering rather than blindly reaching out bcz someone is popular on instagram.
 
i am curious about this too I'd probably start with smaller creators who already make content in a similar niche since they seem easier to approach interested to hear whether people are getting better results from marketplaces or direct outreach
 
Try both and see which gives better results. Marketplaces save time, while direct outreach lets you find creators that actually match your app.
 
You can start with one small paid video first. If the video turns out good and gets a decent response, you can work with that creator again.
 
If you go the cold outreach route don't do it manually one by one... it takes way too long. scrape youtube channel emails in your niche using search operators or a scraper, then bulk email them. instead of paying flat fees which gets expensive, offer them a lifetime free account for your app plus a high affiliate commission like 30 or 40% recurring. small creators love recurring revenue and it actually gets them to make a decent video because they want those signups. for marketplaces, fiverr is actually okay if you just search for ugc video app review, you can get a decent screen recording for like twenty bucks and then post it yourself on your own socials.
 
since you said it can be AI generated, you could just make the videos yourself using capcut or heygen and then pay small "faceless" channels in your niche to upload them. those channel owners usually make pennies and will post almost anything for like 15 or 20 bucks. saves you the headache of waiting for a creator to record screen captures and get the details wrong... plus you keep full control over the script.

This is some time taking process. But you will get a better deal in this way. generally small creators are actively looking for this type of deals actively so you will get reply fast.
