Do you mention backlinks in your guest post outreach ?

I usually focus on the content or topic first and mention backlinks once the topic is approved.

For paid placements, I’m more transparent upfront about links saves time and avoids mismatched expectations.

A site owner that ignores a mail that explicitly mentions what you want, would still ignore an email where you're beating about the bush.

If prices are high, you negotiate or move to the next person.

I do not put backlink talks in the initial email unless asked for. once the website owner shows interest in the subject matters things becomes a lot easier on the backlink front.

Yeah, I usually mention backlinks naturally, but I don’t make it the main focus. I keep the outreach more about the content and value

i think do not use the phrase I need a backlink in the beginning of ur email. Engage them into reading an article first and discuss the backlinks only after they reply to you.
 
If it's paid post it's better to bring that up on first mail imo. If not, don't even mention it until the content approved
 
First I will say like I would like to contribute an article to your website and then I will add like can I add a link to my website in that. I don't want to waste my time and their time too. Like typing a long sentences and hide our backlink requirement in the end.
 
For editorial outreach, I usually lead with the topic and value first. Once they show interest, I ask about link policy.

For paid guest posts, I’d mention the backlink requirement upfront since it saves time for both sides.
