Personally, I'd like to have expanded my dropshipping store in 2018/2019 and create something real, an ecommerce or create a real brand in that time. Unfortunately it just died like most Shopify stores.

How about you? What is your biggest regret of your business or professional life?

I've made mistakes but I don't really regret anything, because I learned from those mistakes and had lots of fun

Money wise, I probably should've bought Yahoo and Google stock back when their names seemed silly and they were worth pennies

My biggest regret is probably not taking some opportunities more seriously when they came up. Sometimes you just don't realize the potential until it's already gone. :)

Probably waiting too long before taking a project seriously. I’ve had a couple of small projects that were making money, but instead of putting more time into one of them, I kept jumping to the next idea. Looking back, I probably would’ve been better off putting 6–12 months into one thing and seeing how far I could actually take it.

Management capabilities failed to keep pace with the company's growth, leading to misguided strategies.

Simillar thing is happenning with me.

talking too much about what am I doing is one of my biggest one I think. it's killing your energy in all ways

consulting a scam home kidnappers mental health doctor in 2009... these people are total scamsters.

but it can also generate ideas maybe? what do you think?
it can also miss direct you from your way. everyone has an opinion when you tell something about yourself. I think we need ideas from experts about what we're doing. need to hear experience, not self reflective weird opinions from friends and family.

Yeah true

Not using EMDs to start a Rank-and-Rent service. I used EMDs to get traffic for my own sites but never thought to start a traffic business.

Not diversifying into emerging markets sooner. I spent years grinding tier 1 GEOs — US, UK, DE — competing with everyone and their mother for the same traffic, paying premium CPCs, fighting over the same audiences. Margins kept shrinking every quarter.
When I finally started testing Africa and Southeast Asia about two years ago, it was like discovering paid traffic in 2015 again. Low competition, cheap clicks, and audiences that actually engage with ads instead of scrolling past everything. Should have made that move at least 3 years earlier.
The other regret is not building systems from day one. I used to run everything manually — checking campaigns, adjusting bids, pulling reports. Burned out twice before I finally invested time into proper automation and tracking. The boring infrastructure stuff is what lets you scale without losing your mind.
