What are your experiences with Reddit ads?

I am curious about how Reddit ads are performing for others lately.

Have you been getting good traffic, conversions, or engagement from them? Also what type of campaigns or targeting have worked best for you?

Would love to hear some real experiences and results from people who are currently running Reddit Ads.

I’ve had mixed results with Reddit ads. Some campaigns worked pretty well, while others just burned through the budget. Haven’t used them recently though, so I’m curious what others are getting now.

SaaS - Average
e-Commerce - Good
Peptides (indirect promotion) - Bad

I’ve tried Reddit ads a few times. The results were okay, but it really depended on the audience and targeting. Haven’t tested them recently though. Curious if they’re still working well for others
 
Reddit ads work well for niche B2B or tech products if you target specific subreddits instead of broad interest groups, but the conversion rate for general e-commerce is usually lower compared to Meta ads.

Totally agree! Organic community building and value-first posts usually convert much better on Reddit than paid ads because users here prefer authentic discussions.

reddit ads quality depends a lot on audience targeting imo. ive had better luck with niche subreddits vs broader audiences. also gotta keep ads natural looking, not too salesy or reddit shadow flags them quick. conversion rates not amazing but if budget friendly and testing different angles, can def work
 
reddit ads are dead expensive for trash roi, better off spending that budget on discord communities and organic growth tbh

Yeah, I’ve noticed the same. Niche targeting seems to make a big difference, especially when the ad actually fits the subreddit. I’m still testing different creatives and messaging, but keeping it native and useful seems to get better engagement than a direct sales pitch.

to me, it works better to carry out advertisements on reddit when the audience is narrow nd the ads are organic in nature. otherwise, the money spent on such campaigns is wasted fast.

Organic always works on most of the platforms, but it's difficult to grow organically, so people lose hope.
 
What types of creatives work best on Reddit? Organic means text based posts, but pic/videos consistently steal more attention?

For app installs, which one works better?
 
Reddit ads can be pretty hit or miss from what I’ve seen. The targeting can work well, but I’d definitely test small before putting serious budget behind it.
