Is there a way to use Claude Code for free?

you can check their startup program.

in my case: i have a company, they gave me $5k initial. they saw i spent it over 1-2 years. when it came to an end and I overspent, they sent me an email with an invitation code giving me another $10k.

i am about to have spent all of the $10k as well and no idea if they will grant me more or not. usually there are some requirements to unlock $150k or so. like you have to use specific APIs or products.

they usually operate in a way they dont give you all the credits at once. first they gave me 5k, then they gave me 10k. next it could be possible they give me 20k or more. lets see

I see, that is interesting, thanks for your detailed response, i'll look more into this since it sounds quite nice.
 
i am curious about this too I've seen different options mentioned but i am more interested in legitimate long term solutions than temporary workarounds it would be helpful to hear what others are using these days
 
Most of these tools require payment; however, you can look for applications that offer a free trial period before charging fees, which may require you to frequently search for such apps or create new accounts on them.

alibaba, google and amazon also have these start up programs for free credits

azure was the easiest to get in. they easily approved me $5k USD

Switch to planning mode, create a multi-stage plan, export it to an implementation-plan.md file, and review/edit it as needed. Once satisfied, implement each stage one by one and mark it as complete. There’s no official unlimited free Claude API. A safer approach is to use OpenCode/Cline with free-tier models or Ollama locally, and only pay for Claude/Codex on harder tasks. This can cut costs significantly without bypassing any limits.
 
I vaguely recall Anthropic/Claude being bundled with some corporate Microsoft stuff. Might be worth a look-see if your employer-provided 365 or copilot license also includes Anthropic models. Heads up, this is specifically through Copilot instead of a direct Claude access.
Outside of that, I'll have to read up on some of the comments here.
