Create posts on your socials stating your intention and encourage people to engage. But you have to make your intension very clear so as to attract like minded people.

You can find some follow-for-follow groups, but honestly most of them are low quality and full of people who just follow and never engage. A bigger follower count doesn't always help if those people aren't interested in your content.
If you want real people, I'd look for niche Facebook groups related to your page topic and actually participate there. Smaller communities usually bring better followers than random like exchanges.

Very difficult to find with real people these days since the bots are spending their time trying to convince you they are real. But you can try groups that will only usually have real people in (where it won't make sense to be a bot due to low value) like helping groups, or pay my bills groups.

Niche communities are usually better for this you’re more likely to get genuine interaction from people who already care about the same topic

You can search for groups that post content and ask them to interact and have a genuine exchange; it will be easy and not as difficult as you think
