how to fix bad qulity on tiktok after upload

Try exporting directly from capcut in the highest resolution allowed. That seems to work for me, have had less issues when i do that

Set a high bitrate and 60 fps; TikTok just compresses your video, and there’s usually nothing you can do about it, or try uploading it in very high resolution

Go use a third party editor and then download the video in 1080p, 60frames per second. You will see that it helps with the quality and smoothness of the video when you upload it.

Try uploading the video in the highest quality possible, upload it using a stable Wi-Fi connection instead of mobile data, or you can try uploading the video from your computer.

this was an issue that had occurred to me in the past nd i solved the problem by exporting the video once more. ensure that the original video file is not already compressed particularly if the video file is taken from whatsApp or tellegram.

Try uploading the original file instead of the one that is already compressed using some other application. i would also export the video in the resolution or bitrate of Tiktok and not send it via whatsApp.

I’d check the export settings first. Try uploading the original 1080x1920 file directly, without sending it through WhatsApp or another app first. Those can compress the video a lot before TikTok even gets it.

Check whether the video looks bad in your phone's gallery before uploading. If its already soft there TikTok isn't necessarily the problem.

export in 1080x1920 with h264 and upload the original file straight from your phone. avoid wp or tg transfers for sure, they compress

Try exporting the video in 1080p with a good bitrate and avoid compressing it multiple times before uploading.

what kind of quality are you currently uploading?try to upload videos at the best quality possible such as 1080p and ensure that your internet connection is stable while you upload.if the issue persists try to clear the cache in the app or update tiktok to its latest version.

hi i think you can try uploading the video in 1080p and also make sure the original video quality is good.

Try uploading in 1080p, 30/60fps, MP4 (H.264) and turn on “Upload HD”. Also avoid sending the video through apps that compress it before uploading. TikTok may still compress videos, but these settings usually help a lot.

Please upload the video in high quality and check your internet connection; a weak connection can sometimes affect video quality.
