What a matric you check obsessively that probably doesn't matter as much as you think?

We all have that one number we keep refreshing even tho deep down we know it might not be as important as we treat it.
For me its bounce rate, keep checking it constantly but honestly not even sure how much weight it actually carries
anymore compared to stuff like actual conversations or time time on page.
what's your - DA, keyword rankings, pageviews, whatever it is that you check way more than you probably should.

Totally depends on what your website is about. For a blog, it's still okay to have a high bounce rate, for an ecommerce store, it's a very important metric.

It's DA/DR still check it but I will found it can be misleading when judged alone real organic traffic, rankings, relevance & conversions give a much better picture of actual seo performance

Hi,

My sugesstion is definitely keyword rankings I check them way more often than I should. In the end, consistent organic traffic and conversions matter more than small daily ranking changes.

I used to be very concerned with keyword rankings particularly even small losses on a daily basis. these days i am far more concerned with how much traffic the pages is generating.

DA is probably one of them. It is useful for comparing sites, but I would not use it as the main reason to judge a website.

I think pageviews are probably the one I check more than I should. Still trying to figure out which numbers actually matter most beyond just watching the dashboard.

RD. There is too many spam sites linking to you, and then dying a few months later than every i feel, i have like more than 400 rd on a site, and pretty much 99.9999999999% is spam "guest post SEO link ad" I have domains that i'm holding that are the same all upwards of 400+ RD spammers. I feel sorry for those trying to buy expired domains, people probably pay me to keep mine, they look so bad now! lol

it’s keyword rankings I still check them more often than necessary Rankings fluctuate naturally so I think traffic trends conversions and overall visibility give a much better picture of SEO performance.
