Silver HIVA Score — What You Should Know Before Buying a BM

How are we checking the Hiva scores ? I thought that the scores were only an internal metric that those working at FB could see - not provided to the everyday fb user to check themselves?
You can check the score manually by inspecting the underlying JavaScript variables of your ad account dashboard to look for embedded trust tags. It will show tier 1 , tier 2 , tier 3. Search trust_tier or adtrust_dsl. Dsl stands for Daily spend limit . Example if you see -1 represent Unlimited daily spend limit.

I thought there were more to it than just this though that we couldnt see? Do the ad accounts, profiles, and BMs all have separate/unique HIVA scores?

Yeah, I’d look at the HIVA score, but it’s not everything. I’d trust the BM’s history, ratings, and how it was used before. Gold vs Silver sounds good, but I’d like to see some real numbers.
A lot of people keep asking about the difference between Gold and Silver HIVA, so let’s break it down in simple terms:

Silver HIVA = Mid-tier trust score
It’s still clean, still stable, just not quite as “bulletproof” as Gold. Perfect if you’re running moderate daily spend and safer verticals.

Balanced performance
Approvals are generally smooth, your spend holds steady, and most campaigns run fine — just don’t push too hard.

Good for starters or mid-level advertisers
If you’re not ready for a full-scale, heavy-duty setup yet, Silver HIVA gives you a reliable BM without the high cost of Gold.

Lower risk than cheap or shady BMs
Silver HIVA accounts are self-created and clean. No hacks, no recycled accounts, no suspicious history. Much safer than budget BMs that tend to burn out quickly.

Best use cases:
– Testing new funnels
– Medium daily spend
– Safer niches
– Agencies managing smaller campaigns

All in all, if you’re not going for Gold yet or your campaign volume isn’t huge, Silver HIVA is a stable middle ground that won’t let you down.

Curious — when you buy or rent a BM2500, do you also consider the HIVA score?

To answer @KDMDOpps ... yeah, they are separate but they definitely impact each other. A strong BM won't save you if the admin profile has a trash trust score, FB links them all anyway. tbh most of these "gold" and "silver" labels are just seller marketing to markup prices, but checking the actual trust_tier in the js console like @betsuga said is the only way to see what you are actually paying for. Still gotta watch out for the original creator account getting pulled back though like NAM mentioned, that happens way too often with these "clean" setups.

most of these gold and silver labels are just seller hype to markup the price... yes the trust tier in the js console is real but people worry way too much about the label. even if you buy a gold one, it doesnt mean much if your setup is messy. one bad card bin or a flagged domain and that high trust score goes down the drain in seconds anyway. the main thing to worry about is still the recovery risk and how you warm it up.

those gold and silver labels are mostly just seller hype to bump the price... the actual trust tier in the console is worth checking but it's only one part of the equation. you can buy the best gold BM out there and still get slapped instantly if your proxy setup is leaky or the card bin is flagged. focus on your fingerprint and warming it up slowly, otherwise you're just throwing money away on fancy labels.

Exactly. Can only be seen internally.

Only those who have used Gold HIVA have seen the difference.
