Such SMM panels exist.
But... there's no option to select the country (or language) for viewing.
And overall...the quality isn't top-notch.
Do you think this has any effect?
I tested retention boosting on five different videos. And only once did I see it help the promoted video even slightly.

Did you achieve above 75% retention though?

I didn't set the retention time to that high.
My videos are 20 minutes or longer.
I set it to 40-50%.
Setting it higher seems unsafe and not cheap for SMM panels.

In 2026, retention is one of the biggest ranking factors, especially for Shorts and long-form videos. YouTube cares more about how long people actually stay watching.
If viewers do not stay longer, the video usually dies quickly, no matter how many views it gets. High average view duration and replays signal to the algorithm that the content is worth pushing to more people.
And because of this, smm panels are quite effective. They can increase views, but they can't enable real watch behaviour.

Viewer retention is probably the most important metric that directly affects how many views a video will get. No other metric is as important as retention, which is why this feature is practically absent in SMM panels.

For anyone looking for a panel mainly to give a video that initial push, i’d definitely keep SMM Quality on the shortlist. Retention still depends heavily on the actual video, but for getting some extra reach behind good content, it makes sense
retention is a very important factor yet i believe that the most efficient way to use it is through its consequences rather than manipullation. the fact that people stay on the video due to its interesting content is a better signal for utube than retention views.

I think retention still matters but I'd rather focus on making videos that keep people watching naturally i am curious to hear what others are seeing with YouTube rankings this year

Yes retention is important because YouTube looks at whether viewers stick around and enjoy the video. I’d focus on real audience retention rather than SMM panel views since artificial engagement won’t replace genuine viewer satisfaction.
