Warnings Should not be given to people for responding to posts in the wrong forum, if "Want to Buy" isn't going to be banned from those forums

If it's on the home page as "Want to Buy" in the title, there should be less focus on who responds and more on who made the post.

1) solution 1 idea:
If the moderators didn't catch it quickly enough to stop the post, we as users of the forum can 'miss it' just as they did, so there should be leniency.

2) Solution 2 idea:
The other solution, maybe 'Want to Buy" should be banned from use in the title in all forums except those where it's permitted.


I think this could help everyone.

Seems someone got knicked responding to the right post at the wrong section.

Your first solution sounds fair second one is a bit aggressive at least to my knowledge.

While we can understand the frustration with other users not following the rules and posting their WTB threads outside of the proper location, it doesn't absolve upgraded members from the responsibility of acting within the rules.

If you accidently find yourself responding to a thread in the wrong location, you can simply report the thread, admit your mistake and let a moderator take care of it. Or, send in a ticket to support and ask nicely to have it taken care of. And, of course, if you see a thread out of place, please report it.
