No — the Native Residential plan supports only TCP traffic. UDP-based protocols like QUIC and WebRTC are not supported.

Quick update from CometVPN - obfuscated servers are now available across all locations, not just select ones like before. Makes it significantly harder to detect you're using a VPN at all.

We also moved it from the variant section to the protocol section in the app so it's easier to find and switch on the fly. No more digging around - just open protocols, toggle obfuscation, done.

Hi,

Yes, state-level targeting is supported, and it goes further than that.

On our Native Residential VPN you can target by country → state → city → ISP, so you're not limited to picking "US" as a whole. You can select California, Texas, Florida and so on, and drill down to specific cities within them.

The IPs are genuine residential connections - real home internet rather than datacenter ranges - so they come from actual consumer ISPs in the location you pick.

A few honest caveats worth knowing before you try it:

• The IP rotates. It stays the same as long as it can and changes when you reconnect (up to 24 hours on a sticky session). If you need a permanently fixed IP, that's a different product - our Dedicated Residential IP — but that one is state-level only, with no city selection.
• It's billed per GB, not a flat monthly rate. Traffic doesn't expire, so unused GB carries over.
• It requires a base VPN plan - it's an add-on rather than standalone.
• There's a "High-End Pool" toggle. Leave it off if you want the widest location list; switching it on narrows you to a smaller premium pool with fewer locations available. This catches people out.

You can use it two ways: through our apps (Windows/Mac/iOS/Android), or via a proxy generator in the dashboard that gives you host/port/username/password for use in other software, browsers or automation tools.

To answer properly — you're asking about our Native Residential VPN plan, which is the one that exposes proxy credentials.

Native Residential VPN — dynamic or sticky, per GB

Rotation is a dashboard setting:

• Randomise — new IP on every request
• Sticky — holds the same IP as long as it can, up to 24h

Real residential IPs from home connections, not datacenter ranges. 195+ countries, with targeting down to country / state / city / ISP — filters are set in the dashboard, so you're not juggling separate endpoints. There's a High-End Pool toggle for the premium subset: smaller pool, better performance. One host/port, and SOCKS5, HTTP and HTTPS all work on the same credentials. Billed per GB, starting at $1/GB and dropping with volume.

Dedicated Residential IP — genuinely static, per month

If you need an IP that doesn't move at all, this is the one. A single residential IP assigned to you and nobody else, held for as long as you keep the subscription. Currently 28 countries. $3.99/month flat, no traffic metering.

The practical difference: it also ships as WireGuard and OpenVPN config files, so it loads straight into a router, NAS or any standard client — no proxy layer needed. Trade-off is one fixed location and no city/ISP targeting.

Short version: Native Residential if you need rotation, scale or precise geo-targeting. Dedicated Residential IP if you need one IP that stays put and looks the same every session.
