That means they already have an audience or are targeting the right audience by running ads.
In my opinion, short videos are the way to go.

I find that posting consistently every day and actively engaging with others is quite important, but the most crucial thing is having great content in your videos.

I usually focus on short videos and build themes around them to create substantive exchanges, which is far more effective than posting too much information that dilutes the focus.

Short videos seem to be the easiest way to get new reach right now, but I wouldn't ignore regular posts. I'd test both and see what your audience responds to. For me, shares, comments and people coming back to the page matter more than just likes. Reels can bring the reach, then regular posts help turn those viewers into followers.

I’d look at the few posts that suddenly got way more reach and see what they had in common — topic, timing, comments, shares. The format might not be the reason they took off

Each page has its own way of developing. You should experiment with various things, one part at a time.
In my opinion, posting consistently and staying actively engaged with your audience are very important for growing a page.

I’ve been focusing more on short videos lately, but mixing in regular posts and testing different formats seems to work best since you never really know what will click.

format is less important than getting peoples to actually pauses from scrolling within the first few seconds. I could run reels, image posts and text for a few weeks and pushes the content that gets comments or shares not just likes.

i’ve been seeing short videos work well for discovery while regular posts can still perform when they give people a reason to comment or share i’d test both formats for a few weeks and use the page insights to see which type consistently brings the right audience
reels have become the only type of content that really works for me lately. Text posts work some times if they goes viral and receive a lot of comments quickly but that is all about it.
