Two years dormant, then this happened the moment I made a new BM

So I have this 4-year-old Facebook profile, and I have two BMs (Business Managers) in it. I used it for a campaign two years ago and spent some money on it. Yesterday, I wanted to use it for another campaign, so I created a new BM with that profile, but that BM got restricted immediately, and they asked for my ID, which never happened on this account before. I sent the ID, and the BM got unrestricted immediately, just one minute after.


So please, now I want to understand: is this account now considered a "two-line" account? And is it safe to run a new campaign on it after two years?

That’s actually pretty interesting. Sounds like the new BM just triggered an automatic verification check. Did you use the same business info as your old BM?

No not really, but they asked for the profile ID thought.

I wouldnt read too much into the quick verification.
if the restriction was lifted immediately it sounds more like a routine security check than a lasting account issue

If the verification was cleared and there are no active issues, I’d say you’re fine to use it normally.

I wouldn't call it a "two-line" account based on that alone. The ID check sounds more like a security/identity verification triggered when creating the new BM; Meta says it can ask for ID to confirm identity or prevent abuse.

Since it was verified and unrestricted immediately, that's a good sign. I’d just keep the setup stable and start the new campaign normally rather than making lots of changes at once. An old account being unused for two years doesn't automatically mean it's unsafe to advertise again.
