Actually, you can absolutely film yourself with your phone, then use AI to write the script. You'll gain experience yourself, and from there you can produce more engaging videos.

You don’t necessarily need a professional team. I’d test different hooks, creatives, and angles first. Most of the time, AI isn’t the problem—the content just needs to feel less generic and more relevant to the audience.
 
low cpc/ctr isn't automatically a content-quality problem either. check the search intent, title/snippet and whether the page actually gives people a reason to choose your result over the others.
 
The issue I have with raw AI product content is that it lacks authenticity, and Facebook users are conditioned to ignore anything that looks like a generic display ad.

But before you think of hiring an agency you should try getting raw footage of your products in use then use AI tools to generate 5 to 10 different headline angles and voiceover variations and batch test different hooks using the same core product footage
