Beginner-friendly tools for creating short videos

I want to create short promo/tutorial videos for social and my site. What are the easiest tools (desktop or mobile) for a complete beginner to record, edit, add captions, and export vertical and landscape versions?

I prefer Davinci Resolve but it does have a bit of a learning curve so it might not be as beginner friendly as capcut
 
If you want your video to look professional, use only professional tools, such as After Effects or Premiere Pro. Everything else is basically just a stripped-down version of these programs.
 
I will follow this path: For mobile, get Inshot or capcut. When you are done editing, use Tiktok to add captions since adding captions is a paid feature, Tiktop will do that for free. Then use Videoshow to compress large videos. For PC Just use capcut. I will follow this path: For mobile, get Inshot or capcut.
