It is 2026. Everything changed. I am wondering is it really possible to get sales in ecom store thru SEO? We are planning to lunch an ecom store in middle east. Our main focus is SEO, Amazon FBM and social media marketing but priority fodcus is SEO. So can anyone tell me it is still possible to get sales from SEO in 2026?
Thanks in advance

Honestly it's very hard to get traffic only with SEO.

Yes, it’s definitely possible. Plenty of ecom stores still rely on SEO for steady sales, especially from long-tail and product-specific searches. It takes time, but the traffic converts well once rankings build trust.

Yes, it’s still possible to get sales through SEO in 2026. Many e-commerce stores still get consistent traffic and sales from Google when their product pages are well-optimized, and they target the right keywords.

SEO takes time. If you combine it with platforms like Amazon FBM and social media, you can get early sales while organic traffic grows.

Hey Mr.warrior,
Seo still drives massive sales if you focus on long-tail commercial intent.Middle East markets are growing fast, so capturing organic search early is a smart play.Perhaps optimizing for local languages and mobile speed will give you the best edge there

Long tail and drive the best keyword strategy can fluid a massive a amount of traffic in seo

Thanks everyone for your answers.

It’s very achievable. A lot of ecommerce brands depend on organic visibility to drive reliable sales, especially from specific, high-intent searches. While results don’t happen overnight, rankings that build credibility usually bring in buyers who are ready to purchase.

It is absolutely possible to generate ecommerce sales through SEO. Proper SEO helps attract buyers who are already searching with purchase intent. Unlike advertising, the results are not instant. However, once rankings become strong, traffic and sales start coming in consistently and that steady growth is one of SEO’s biggest advantages. That’s why SEO is still considered a powerful long-term strategy for ecommerce businesses today.

100% - but it is harder i believe with AI taking a lot of traffic

Many ecommerce businesses continue to generate consistent revenue through search visibility, particularly by targeting detailed, intent-driven product queries. While results don’t happen overnight, the visitors gained through this approach tend to be highly motivated and more likely to convert as credibility grows over time.

SEO is still a natural and high-quality traffic source to focus on. Concentrate on SEO to achieve the best business results for your company.

Yes, It is possible to increase the sales in E-commerce through SEO IN 2026.SEO helps your store in search when people want to buy anything. For example some search the "Buying digital watch online" if you used correct keyword ,proper structure, proper design, reviews, description and fast loading speed. Then your product will show in appearance ,definitely you sale will be increase.

Obviously it is possible. One company thag did it very well in its initial stages is Flipkart which is now a very big company.

Of course, with SEO you can generate traffic and turn it into your main lead generation channel. But you need to understand that it’s an investment that may take a couple of years to fully pay off.

If you need results right now, focus on social media and paid advertising.

If you’re comfortable waiting, then the business will eventually see the return.

I wouldn’t rely solely on SEO. Without sales, a business might not survive long enough to see the long-term payoff. So it’s important to balance faster client acquisition channels for cash flow with SEO as a long-term investment in the future.
