[JOURNEY] My Road Back to Dominating the IPTV Streets AGAIN After 8 Year Hiatus

Quick Update
Since the turn of August, we have been focusing on email campaigns pushing discount offers - we've cleaned our lists in anticipation of this and have sent around 10,000 emails per 48hrs, all former customers, or trialists. We have focused on sending Mon,Weds,Fri, to increase conversions - 3 send strategy. We use tools like ZeroBounce and email validators along with optins/outs to ensure high Inbox success rate.
As a result of this, here's our August totals accurate as of 8am CET on Fri 7th August.

The new EFL season starts next weekend (14th) with the EPL season the following weekend (21st). So this is the very much the calm before the storm. Love August and September, it's like black Friday for IPTV especially when your main focuses are on UK/IE/US/CA/AUS. We will probably extend our 15% promo right through until mid September but we will keep extending the expiry date in short chunks so as not to lose customer urgency.

Another major revenue source is of course our resellers. We've applied modest increases to their yearly rates - being $22USD for new resellers until we assess their capacity/volume capability. Some of our largest resellers, whilst still seeing an increase, can be as low as $16USD due to their bulk.

Naturally end of June to mid Aug is a quiet period for resellers although the World Cup has definitely helped to keep deposits ticking over. These will now increase significantly during the season open and may account for as much as 60% of our Aug/Sep revenues. Aqquiring resellers would be my #1 peice of advice for newbies stepping into this world. Sure your margins are far, far higher to end users, but the joys of resellers is they all without exception pay via Cryptocurrency. It's once less headache.

Hi there,

I ventured into the IPTV business after being an user myself for over 10 years last year. Initially I wanted to target my local GEOs but it is heavily retricted on any banned promotional words and websites are also not where the main traffics are (you can probably guess where). I have recetly started outreaching on a IPTV specific site.

I have following questions and a few more if you don't mind.

1. I am currently a reseller of a private panel and Strong, the issues with the private panel is that the owner refused to find and add local channels cater to my potential market , although the rest such as stability, connections are all pretty good. Would you say it's even worth it to consider hosting my own VPS with restream considering the risks and the difficulties of distribution in my local geo?
2. If my target is get to 1000 concurrent users per month / year, is it doable just purely based on solicitation on IPTV-specific forums (not even reddit) over say 12 months? Should I follow your steps in setting up an actual landing page, reddit / social media / parasite SEOs for traffic in order to achieve this?
3. Appreciate that you have shared a lot on how to remain a ghost, what would you say it's the initial costs to have everything set up? Offshore hosts / DNS, clean device, eSIMs , clean proxies etc. (and maybe own VPS)

Thank you so much!

1. The difference between reselling an existing service and restreaming is huge, not only in terms of cost but also in terms of management and keeping things stable. Also, this would be unlikely to make financial sense unless you have upper XXX customers. Your referenced Strong, they, along with the likes of Trex are a poor mans IPTV. So it doesn't surprise me they refuse/cannnot source local channels. Remember, if they're just a reseller, they have zero control on what they can add.

2. I don't use IPTV forums to be honest, I can't imagine it's anywhere near an optimal way of spending your marketing time efforts. You're swimming with the sharks, there is far too much supply that outstrips demand - therefor, prices drop off a cliff.

3. If you stick purely to reselling, the initial setup costs for the things you've described and things closely related; initial outlay would probably be around $750USD. This doesn't include credit deposit costs to your provider.

Thanks, can we also talk about potential reseller option? I only have about 40 customers currently from 3 months of selling last year and then I took a break, looking to start again

I don't know why but I can't reply your dm...

The storm is brewing.
EFL kickoff 14th
EPL kickoff 21st

Hold on tight.

Are you still using the same methods to avoid vote manipulation bans reddit? I know things have gotten more strict in the last year or so

Method still working - competition has dropped through the floor as 90% haven't made any adjustments. This means upvote totals for top comments are much less; and ranking your own posts via subreddits you own/pay for has become far easier.

Some key takeaways for what you need now;
Stronger accounts (much stronger - we are paying $200-$500 per acc, or even better, getting them from people we know IRL)
Countless Brand Name mirrors (as branded terms are being blocked)
Higher Upvote costs, and need to have at least 5 or 6 panels as they are intermittant - or better still, bring this in house.

Tl;dr - Reddit filters & account flagging have become more difficult but the methodology remains the same, and the tightening has meant competition is less (way less) so we're actually seeing better results.

Dust has settled after the EFL kicking off this past weekend.

EPL starts on Friday evening so we're really in the sweet spot now for traffic & sales. I'm hoping the second half of this month will provide a larger payoff and I'll be spending as many hours as I can behind the desk - I can take a break when we hit Sep 30! lol.
