From my experience I would recommend uploading one video every day and posting it at the same time each day. Consistency matters a lot. In the beginning you may not get many views but gradually your views will start to increase, and suddenly one of your Shorts could go viral.

In terms of a vry fresh account it could make sense to concentrate more on content that shall be viewed rather than simply creating lots of the content. trends might help me to get started initially but it would be the format that keep the retention going.

Focus more on hooks than raw frequency post 3-5x week consistently, nail the first 3 seconds, and only jump on trends that fit your niche.

I’d focus more on making good videos than just posting a ton. Especially the first couple seconds. If you can get people to stop scrolling and actually watch, that seems to matter way more. Trends are worth trying too, but only when they actually fit your content.
