Why people look for Walmart accounts?

I am trying to register an walmart account from US number but on all sms services walmart is neither super expensive or not available at all.

Whats the hype with Walmart accounts? What do people do with them? I mean simple walmart accounts that were just registered, not seller accounts.

I'm also seeing right now that a lot of people are buying these numbers

These are new accounts that were just registered; no cards are linked to them.

Even if, in theory, sellers are buying all these accounts, they’re selling them to someone else—the reason for the hype is still unclear.
