What Do You Miss From Your Childhood?

Most of us have been around here for years. Time passes, ages change, newbies join, juniors become seniors, seniors become super seniors… and eventually, some of us retire.

Every generation goes through the same thing.

So let’s take a trip back to our childhood for a moment.

What was your favorite food, snack, toy, game, or anything else from your childhood that was super popular back then but has basically disappeared now?

Something you loved as a kid but probably won’t find anywhere in 2026.

For me, one of the things I really miss is flying kites during school vacations.

Back then, during every school vacation, the streets and skies would be full of kites. You could see them everywhere small ones, huge ones, colorful ones, and even some crazy handmade designs.

We would spend hours outside trying to fly them higher, competing with friends, and getting excited whenever we managed to cut someone else's kite.

But these days, I hardly see kids flying kites anymore. The streets feel completely different.

Not going "UGGGGGGGGHHHH" every time I stand up.

Being able to eat absolute shit all the time with absolutely no health consequences.

Hair.

The same happened with street games. We played cricket, football, hide and seek until sunset. Nobody was indoors. Now you rarely see kids playing on the streets. It feels like a different world.

Freedom, having lots of time and fun. Good and creative games and not like today. Having more energy. There are lots of stuff

Friends and Hair

Calmness, everything speeds up when you grow elder.

I miss playing games with friends for hours on end throughout the summer.

I miss the days when a broken toy was a repair project instead of a reason to buy a new one.

I miss my pasted away parents and beloved granny.
