Have been facing backlink indexation and ranking volatility?

I've seen temporary ranking/traffic fluctuations after new links, but I wouldn't assume Google is simply “reassessing” the link quality. Indexing, algorithmic recalculation, competitor changes, and normal SERP volatility can all cause this pattern. I'd look at GSC data over several weeks before drawing conclusions from Ahrefs alone.

A temporary spike & drop after new links get indexed is normal I did look at link quality, relevance & the overall link profile before assuming google is reassessing them, a month of volatility alone is not enough to confirm that theory,

Improve the pages where you added the backlinks and add some good internal links. a stroong page can get more value from the backlink.

That's what's i'm thinking. Mainly watching link indexing, crawl frequency ranking movement and whether the traffic changes holds after Google reprocess the signal

Yea... I don't want to overract to short term ahrefs movement. I'm interested in trend after the link settle and ranking stabilize
u got it bro just remember ahrefs is only a 3rd party tool anyway their traffic metrics are just gueses real stabilization will only show up in your actual google search console data

Sure, I've noticed that bumping and then dropping behavior when newly indexed links have been evaluated. But I don't think one should take this at face value because Google may also reevaluate the link’s worth.

Sure, I have seen such variations. Rather than niche match only, I would be looking for the overall quality, relevance to topic, and position of the links. It is possible for Google to its signal received through the links at different points of time.

Similar fluctuations can happen after backlinks get indexed better to give it some time before judging the impact.

Thats definitely possible Google can reassess link quality and relevance over time which may explain the temporary boost and drop.
