I’m an Adobe user too, all I can say is that Canva isn’t more powerful than Illustrator it’s just faster and simpler.

canva is specially for quick design and and non designer stuf
canva is great for speed but if you already know illustrator there's honestly not much reason to switch. the only thing canva does better is templates and team collaboration, like you can share a design with a client and they can edit it without knowing anything about design. other than that illustrator is way more powerful for actual design work.

In my opinion, Canva is much easier to use than Illustrator, and that’s what made him choose it.

illustrator is for heavy vector work man but canva has a massive library of fonts graphics and instant background removers that just work perfectly for quick social media stuff.....

The craze is mostly about scaling and VAs tbh. @Graphica_Crew if you run client accounts or need to churn out massive amounts of social posts, Illustrator is too slow. with canva you can import a csv and bulk generate 100 images in like two minutes. plus you can hand it off to a cheap virtual assistant who has zero design skills and they wont mess up the branding because of the locked templates. for actual design work it sucks compared to illustrator, but for pure marketing workflow and speed it makes sense.
There is no doubt that adobe software are next level and they are used by a real designer who know their use very much. Switching to canva is good. This is very easy web based software, It is almost used by all designers for social media banners and posters and for other basic graphic work. There are large number of templates are available on canva about every thing which can be edited according to your requirement like text, color, size and file type etc.

Canva is good enough for most cases and Adobe Illustrator is much better for cnd scalable designs.
Adobe and Canva both are much different things so i think there is no comparison between them. If you are using adobe then its good and solid choice because this is a professional software and works widely in world and used by professionals, and if you are deciding to switch to canva then this is also good if you want to use it for normal designing like banners, posters, social media posts and general purpose.

If you already know Illustrator, I’d say Canva is less about replacing Illustrator and more about speed and workflow.
