Testing Reddit's New Filters Together.

Why don't we work together and use this thread to test different methods? Recently I noticed that mentioning my brand name in a comment, even without a link, gets the comment removed and eventually leads to a shadow ban.

My next test is different. I have old comments on aged accounts that already mention my brand. Instead of mentioning it again, I'll naturally engage in discussions and share a link to one of those old comments so anyone interested can find the brand there. I think it can work since it's an internal link and not external. The conversion rate will probably be lower, but if it avoids Reddit's filters, it might be worth it.

Nah but I found even after the ban was lifted I got hit by harder Reddit filters.

All fine now though but it seems getting temp banned lowers your trust score, perhaps?
 
Maybe.. I have a 100 accounts and 5 VAs warming them up and so far comments from large subreddits are getting my accounts shadow banned idk about that

So I'm glad to see I'm not the only one experiencing this. Over the past two days, Reddit's filters have been removing my posts, and some of my accounts have been affected as well.

I use Webshare static residential proxies along with BitBrowser, MoreLogin, and Dolphin Anty. I post only once per community and make around 6–9 posts per day from each account.

I noticed that some of my posts kept getting removed by Reddit's filters. At first, I thought my post titles might be the issue, so I changed them and randomized my posting strategy. However, my post was still removed today, so for now I'm only using one account.

Webshare proxy is not good at all.... Minimum 5 natural comment must be done before you post a commercial ads comment or if post then also same rule

was this mobile automation or manual? could also be the age of the post youre replying to, but this comment sounds like it would be on something new.

In regards to other replies in this thread about "removed by reddit filters" I lowered my rate of getting this through a lot of testing but what has been working for me now is making comments for the day before making any posts. My theory is reddit either wants to see a good ratio of comments/submissions over the lifetime of your account or recent comment activity in general to trust your posts more. So i make 5-7 comment replies to comments that were left under my own previous posts, then I start the posting cycle for the day and my rate of getting reddit filters has gone down like a really significant amount.

Yeah, Webshare proxies don't completely protect you, but they're still useful and worth it for what I'm currently doing.

One thing I've noticed is that if you promote any product, whether directly or indirectly, Reddit may remove your posts or even permanently ban your account. It doesn't seem to matter how old your account is or how much karma you have.

As for me, I just post well i do want to connect people who manage multiple accounts and own communities i want to work with them
 
Great idea to test this collectively! From my experience, the filters seem to be way more aggressive lately. I noticed that even comments without any links sometimes get shadow-removed if they contain certain keywords related to marketing. Would be helpful to compile a list of what triggers the filters. Has anyone tested the difference between aged accounts vs fresh ones?

I tested fresh and aged accounts. They both got banned after including something promotional. The only way that worked so far is to post a link from old comments promoting my brand but the conversion is very low.

@Venusaur, anything new with this reddit filter?
 
the IP thing hunter spirit mentioned is real. i run aged accounts and even 5 year old ones get shadowed if the IP has history. reddit links by IP way harder than people think. rotating residential proxies is basically required now, and letting accounts lurk and upvote for a week before commenting keeps the behavior filter happy.

After logging in using a residential IP for a few days, I tried posting normal comments and posts; however, they were deleted immediately after publication, and my account was suspended.
I then tried logging in with a new account on mobile and focused on "warming it up" (building a credible history), and those accounts are still active.
 
Has anyone tried acting like a real person?

A lot of accounts that I have that lasted 2 years are getting banned now.

I just started implementing scrolling through the explore page and commenting like a real person for 5-10 minutes before posting.

We run NSFW accounts for OF marketing.

We currently post 20 posts daily on each account. This issue only started in July.

Yes I am working on such solution right now. I wonder - what was your setup if you could please share? Browser - proxy? - geo zone? - details of the account (bought/made from scratch?) - any detail would be good to my investigations.

Cloud phones with a proxy.

In my opinion, the setup isn't too important as long as you have a decent proxy and no fingerprint leaks. I say this because I know people in the OF community running antidetect browers, jailbroken ios, cloud phones, etc but we are all facing the same issue since end of June.

It seems like it's all about account activity if the account is warmed up.

Good point. Indeed it is about not leaking any fingerprint information as it might disclose you. However I'll not use antidetect browser as those seem suspicious from the beginning (they are a valid use case, but I believe Reddit will treat them as they are - antidetect and maybe raise some awarness) - I've not reached the account activity yet but as you said that might be the other hard part (besides setup)

Reddit tracks tiny behavioral patterns now ...how fast you browse, if you actually join subreddits before posting, your IP address, device fingerprints, and even how quickly people scroll past your content.

If you're trying to market a brand here like it's Instagram or X, you're going to get roasted by users and instantly flagged by Reddit's automated filters. The only real way to survive is to stop acting like a marketer, talk like a normal human, and focus on providing actual value to the community first.

THis is exactly my approach so far.

For example if someone ask which vacuum cleaner I shall buy ? And if you post a link or brand and you repeat this behaviour I think your account and even the brand may be blacklisted, blocked.

I always comment with 2-3 brand options while try to promote mine's advantage.

Almost never post a link.

Also even that is something annoying I comment and post on unrelated subjects. As if someone check my posts and if thats all about "Brand X" that is very skeptical.

Sometimes even reply to person who asks with a quesiton like "What is your budget".
