Has proxy quality gone downhill?

Proxy quality can change over time because IP reputation, target website rules, and network conditions are constantly changing. It doesn't always mean the provider became worse.

Usually, testing different locations, ISPs, and session settings is the best way to find the right fit for a specific use case.

I’d compare it with as few moving parts as possible

Same target, same request setup, same geo - then test a small batch from the old pool against the new one. Otherwise it’s really hard to tell whether the provider got worse or the target just changed

I wouldn't say that quality is deteriorating but i have recently tested luxhost and received surprisingly good results on it.

That's just how these things go. Eventually, people do enough bad stuff that their proxies get put on blacklists, and the cycle continues.

i think quality can vary a lot between providers and even between different proxy pools same provider. some ips just get flagged or become less stable over time so it not be the whole industry getting worse.testing few providers and tracking uptime speed and success rate is probably the best way to tell
