yes, groups are basically the last organic reach left on fb and the boomer demographic actually buys, but treat the group as the funnel not the asset, use join questions to grab emails from day 1, because metas automod can nuke a group by mistake overnight, happened at scale during the ban waves. affiliate + your own offers to the email list is where the real money is, keep promo posts to like 20% or the algo buries you

I like the FB Group, though its not as robust as I thought. I have hundreds of followers on one that I post regular content to weekly, had to tighten the post rules. So at 1000 followers I figure I can sell posts as a form of advertisement for much more. Theoretically I could be charging $5 per post right now and make up to $15 a day. Looking into Group Collector for Onboarding. Thinking of how to improve engagement, perhaps will have a giveaway funnel built in? I get new followers each day though if Im earning then I can offer something, in accordance with the law and regulations. Ranking #1 organic for my main keyword EM group name.
Contemplating starting a third, since its the only asset I see that gets organic followers passively (for the most part). Like a shopper group next, so I can pour in offers with tutorials and more. Once I setup some systems, I will be running more local services and ecommerce. At nite I am moonlighting making apps. For the most part, keep busy, you can frontload lots of work without immediate compensation though in this space. For instance, you can build website and gain SEO benefits in months or app you are building may take 5 months to complete. I can have Group (Affiliate)>SaaS + Offers/Tutorials. Can product showcase my own listings, I like it since its a growable list, though platform specific.

I’ve found that groups seem to be where it’s at these days, at least when it comes to one of my main industries which is SEO.
Some of the larger groups I’ve seen must be making good money on the backend, I’ve never really looked into how about from the owners obviously being able to promote themselves while others adhere to rules.
Besides that fb groups are basically an a-z of niches and the majority of them are buying niches, I mean if I’m looking to purchase or sell something physical these days - I’ll always check on fb groups first, you can literally find anything on them for sale now.
So it’s kind of a funny question as it’ll more come down to you and the type of group you’re operating.

Live events relevant affiliate products & email list building can work if you avoid being overly promotional. I think niche Facebook groups can still work in 2026 especially when you focus on building trust & providing value.

Specialized groups can still function very well. Groups with active members and high engagement are well worth developing and monetizing.

I doubt that. But I will suggest you to read threads by Basstrackerboats related to fb groups monetization. May be if you twist those methods, you might make good money still from FB groups.

Yes, but they might be effective if there is actual engagement in the group and the offer fits the audience. I would begin by fostering trust; hard selling tends to kill the group fast.

Yeah 100%. As long as there are real eyeballs on the platform, there's money to be made. It all comes down to your angle. If you just drop generic "click my link to make $500/day" posts, you'll get banned or ignored immediately. You need to frame it as genuine value, not spam
