Once the SEO foundation is done, what would you do next?

Thanks for all the replies to my previous thread. The general advice seems to be that, as a complete beginner with a brand-new domain, I should focus on getting the technical/on-page foundation right and building useful content before spending money on backlinks or ads.

That's what I'm planning to do.

My question is more about what comes after that foundation is in place.

Once I have solid technical SEO, on-page SEO, and a reasonable amount of useful content, what would you consider the fastest realistic way to start generating traffic?

Would you continue with the long-term SEO/content approach and wait for the site to gain traction, or would it make sense to experiment with paid traffic at that point?
I've been told that the peptide nice is pointless to try and outrank competitors unless i have deep knowledge of parasite SEO, and the best and fastest way to traffic & sales is ads, its that simple.

And where does black-hat traffic/ads fit into the picture, if at all? Is that something that's reasonable to experiment with once the site has a solid foundation, or is it still a bad idea for a brand-new domain?

I'm completely new to off-page SEO and paid traffic, so I'm trying to understand the progression rather than jump into something blindly.

the "just run ads" advice is backwards for peptides man. google + meta ban the category outright, they even crawl your landing page when the ad itself is clean. this is one of the few niches where SEO is literally the fast lane because paid is mostly closed. compound keywords + reddit presence + email list is the realistic path. and keep blackhat off your money domain, burn throwaway stuff, not your brand

I would not treat paid Traffic as an either or choice. One useful test is sending a small amount of Traffic to the pages you eventually want to Rank and seeing whether visitors actually engage. If the page can't hold paid visitors, more organic traffic probably won't fix the underlying problem.

however i would retain SEO as my primary strategy for the long term but experiment with paid traffic once everything else is set up. traffic from ads will deliver leads nd sales more quickly than SEO which takes a while to kick in. however i would not consider using any black hat traffic with a brand new domain as that would be rissky.

I'd keep building SEO while testing a small paid campaign on the side. Ads can give you traffic and data much faster, while SEO takes time to build.

I wouldn't bother with black hat on a new site though, especially if you want something long term.

Thanks for the replies everyone, starting to understand the distinction now, but I want to make sure I'm interpreting the advice correctly.

When people say to "keep blackhat off your money domain" and mention throwaway sites, are you basically saying that blackhat traffic is mainly useful for short-term testing/quick sales on disposable landing pages, rather than something you'd use to build the long-term organic presence of a real business?

If that's the case, what would be the legitimate equivalent for my situation?

In the Canadian peptide niche, the usual Google/Meta paid-ad route seems largely unavailable. If I want to test whether paid traffic can actually produce conversions without using blackhat methods, what legitimate traffic sources would you experiment with first?

I wouldn't look at it as SEO vs ads. Once the technical and content foundation is in place, I'd probably test both, but with different expectations. SEO is the slower channel, while paid traffic can tell you much faster whether the landing page, offer and targeting actually work. For a brand-new site, I'd be especially careful with black-hat traffic or ad tactics because a short-term spike isn't very useful if the traffic doesn't convert or creates problems later. I'd rather use a small paid test to learn what works, while continuing to build the organic side in parallel. Also, I wouldn't assume you need to master parasite SEO before you can compete—I'd first see what the actual SERPs and competitors look like for the specific queries you're targeting.
