One thing that surprised me was improving older content instead of constantly publishing new articles a few small updates to existing pages made a noticeable difference which made me realize how much potential older content can still have

also changing title tags to lead with the benefit or outcome rather than the keyword made a decent CTR improvement which also helped ranking gains over a few weeks.

I started focusing on quality rather than the quantity of the link because I have been told to go over quantity but this time I changed my mind and removed all the trash backlink and replaced them with quality backlinks after a week or 2 weeks I started seeing ranking getting improvement.Till then and now I prefer quality over quantity

Refreshing old content has been surprisingly effective, Instead of rewriting everything, I Focused on outdated sections, missing queries and intent gaps, Then tightened the page structure.

Cleaning up the dead internal links rather than creating new backlinks was quite surprising. i got a few related pages linked together did some updating to a few dead anchors and a little other pages that were dormant began getting some traffic and ranks. it was quite a bigger difference from something so small.
 
Refreshing old content has worked surprisingly well small updates like improving headings, adding recent info, and tightening the intro can boost rankings without creating new articles.
Internal linking those updated pages also seems to amplify the effect.
